The drop-off center is now located at the Paramount Baseball Field – located between Military Highway and Providence Road.  There is also the Deep Creek Intermediate School drop-off location (located at 140 N. George Washington Highway). At both drop-off facilities the following items are accepted:

  • Aluminum cans, pie plates and foil
  • Clear, brown and green glass
  • #1 and #2 plastic bottles
  • Steel cans
  • Newspaper

“These recycling drop-off sites can be accessed 24/7, making it a convenient option for many Chesapeake residents,” said Ed Hacker, Recycling Manager. “We encourage residents of Chesapeake to take advantage of both the curbside and drop-off recycling programs.”
