Public Comment Period Guidelines
- All speakers will be required to pre-register, stating in part, their
name, address and the topic to be addressed.
- Speakers will be required to speak only to the subject for which they
have registered.
- Speakers will be encouraged, but not required, to provide written
comments for the record, either before or at the time of speaking.
- A maximum of thirty (30) minutes will be allotted for a public comment
period, unless that period is extended by the Board of Directors. Each
speaker will be limited to five (5) minutes or a lesser time as the Chairman
determines necessary to accommodate all speakers who have registered.
Public Hearing Guidelines
- All speakers will be encouraged, but are not required, to pre-register.
In any case, at the beginning of any speaker's presentation he shall state
his name and full address.
- Speakers will be required to speak only to the subject of the public
hearing.
- Speakers will be encouraged, but are not required, to provide written
comments for the record, either before or at the time of speaking.
- Each speaker will be limited to five (5) minutes. Multiple
speakers having the same position on a topic will be encouraged to select
one speaker to represent their opinion.
