BUSINESS SERVICES : PROPRIETARY WASTE DISPOSAL

Businesses and government agencies which need to dispose of confidential or industrial waste can use SPSA's proprietary waste program. Proprietary waste is described as:

• Confidential files
• Consumer products which are out-of-date or off specifications
• Industrial process residue
• Pharmaceuticals

Through this program, organizations can be assured that their proprietary waste is completely destroyed in an environmentally sound manner. The waste is burned as fuel at SPSA's Power Plant.

SPSA accepts only pre-approved proprietary waste. Once approval is granted, the business is charged a disposal fee, and the material is delivered to SPSA's RDF Plant for processing. A certificate of destruction can be provided.

Through the proprietary waste program, businesses are assured that their privacy is protected while minimizing any environmental liability which may occur if materials are landfilled rather than incinerated.
