SPSA accepts cell phones for recycling
through our Household
Hazardous Waste Collection facilities.
Cell phones can also be taken to the local
YWCA
Women in Crisis Shelter or the
911
Cell Phone Bank.
SPSA does not have an established program
for the collection and recycling/disposal
of computers and other electronics at this
time. Computers and other electronics can
be taken to a local Best Buy store or Green
Alternatives located at 801 Boush Street
in Norfolk. TVs and monitors can be recycled
at these locations as well, both stores
charge a fee of $10, Best Buy offers a $10
gift card in return. Check their websites
for more details.
There are special programs and/or vendors
around the region, state and country who
offer forms of electronics recycling. Please
