Stanley
Stein is an Assistant City Manager (ACM) for
the City of
Norfolk. His duties include but are not
limited to providing executive leadership in
strategic planning, setting the
organizations direction, and implementing
the goals of the City of Norfolk. He also
is liaison to several organizations that
work closely with the City of Norfolk and
represents the City of Norfolk on several
regional boards.
Within the 33 plus years of experience
coupled with his being born and raised in
Norfolk he has accumulated a vast knowledge
of the internal working of the City’s
operations and an appreciation of the
history of development during that time
period. His experiences within our
government extend to operations in parks,
recreation, the Zoo, Botanical Garden, real
estate, marina and golf course operations,
parking system, building maintenance, fleet
maintenance, economic development, and a
long list of diverse project developments.
Mr. Stein served for numerous years as an
Alternate Board Member for SPSA and was
named the Ex-Officio Board Member in
November 2010. |
